New (and first) Blog Series: Where the Wild Things Are

23 Jun

I’m not sure I’ve ever picked up a magazine related to children’s ministry or spent time on a children’s ministy message board that didn’t at some point (usually sooner rather than later), behavior issues are mentioned.  Kids are kids.  That is what makes children’s ministry so fun – they are funny, imaginative, keep you laughing, and make you cry.  But it is also what makes children’s ministry tough – they can be hyper, disrespectful, disobedient, and can make you cry.

But there are things that we as leaders do that set up the kids in our ministry for bad behavior and there are things that we can do to help cut down on the chaos.  Over the next few posts we will explore these together.
